Ingredients:

½ cup natural creamy peanut butter

You can purchase a natural brand such as Smuckers Natural Creamy Peanut Butter. You have to stir the oil in when you first open the jar but if you refridgerate it after stirring, the oil will not separate again.)

1 cup canned pumpkin

2 whole eggs

¼ cup cooking oil such

2 and ½ cups whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, pumpkin, eggs and oil. Stir to combine.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured counter and knead just until you have all the flour incorporated into the dough.

Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out to desired thickness and then use a dog bone shaped cookie cutter to cut out your treats or simply cut out circles and bake like cookies.

Bake on a cookie sheet (lightly sprayed with cooking oil spray) for 15 minutes.

Allow to cool. Store in a covered container.
