More Little Known Fun Facts About Dogs

Here at the WoofPost we’ve written before about a handful of little known and amazing dog facts. In this post, we are going to bring you five more. Next time you need some interesting information to wow other dog lovers, you’ll have it at hand:

One – A dog’s facial shape holds a clue to it’s longevity. In general, a longer face means a longer life.

Two – The reason dogs curl up in a ball shape is to protect their abdominal organs. This is leftover wild behavior from their wolf heritage.

Three – A full seventy percent of those people who send greeting cards at holidays and who also own a dog, sign their dog’s name to the card!

Four – All puppies are born deaf.

Five – The Australian Shepherd is not from Australia. The breed is true blue American!
