What Your Dog Breed Says About Your Personality

Have you ever seen those hilarious photographs that show owners next to their dogs and they look alike? Well all humor aside, there are studies that suggest the personality of the breed of dog you own will reflect your personality.

If you own one of these breeds, or know someone who does, how much does the dog’s personality say about you?

Boxer – Playful and affectionate, these dogs make wonderful family pets. Boxer owners are also devoted to their families and while very loving people, are also fiercely protective.

Great Dane – People who own Great Danes, just like their dogs, are courageous and jealously guard their loved ones. When they are with their families they are gentle of spirit and patient with children.

Afghan Hound – These beautiful, elegant dogs usually have stylish and striking owners who are also somewhat aloof and very intelligent.

Bichon Frise – Owners of these beautiful little dogs tend to make friends wherever they go, as they are charming and curious people who want to know everything about you.

Labrador Retriever – These dogs tend to have owners who are just like them: friendly and outgoing and putting others immediately at ease.
